My son's 2005 VW GTI with the 4 cylinder turbo and 127K miles on it sounded like there hammers inside the engine. The car was close to needing a oil change so I bought a quart of High Mileage Oil Stabilizer. He changed the oil adding the stabilizer started it up and we took it for about a 8 mile drive. When we got out of the car we noticed right away that almost all of the noise was gone! My Harley always had the top end tick like most bikes do. So I decided to purchase the Lucas Motorcycle Oil Stabilizer. Wow I can't believe how much this has helped granted it's still makes noise but it dampens it down alot! I run Lucas Synthetic 20w/50 in my motor with Lucas Gear Oil in my trans. I added this to the gas and was amazed… it stopped making the sound that I thought was a rod bearing.

My truck engine has over 200,000 miles and a knock started and I thought it was a rod bearing. I was reading the label on the product Complete Engine Treatment and the words, (stops engine knocks.) I added this to the gas and was amazed, and still am, it stopped making the sound that I thought was a rod bearing. I do have to add the treatment to each fill up, but it does work.
